THE LOCATION

The basis for the urban design was to create a new hotspot in Strijp-S. It will become a new, inviting public amenity where you can enjoy a coffee during your lunch break or get some work done outdoors while young people skate and students relax in the sun. Furthermore, the idea of Eindhoven is to create more green areas which has been done by luring the outer vegetation more towards the city centre. EDGE aims to extend this vegetation even more into the old Philips terrain it is located to make this new hotspot even more attractive.
